DRUG FREE AMERICA

As the descendant of an economically disadvantaged immigrant parents, I’ve always been curious about finding solutions for public health challenges in developing countries. This curiosity turned into action when I first read about a health crisis in our own America – the opioid epidemic – killing thousands of lives every year.

I’ve started spreading awareness of this opioid epidemic when I was in my eighth grade. My small community level project gained visibility when Step-Up-Loudoun placed me in top 10 finalists over 100 contestants in 2022. I put the $50 prize award to good use by registering a domain and building the website “drugzero.org“. Through this website and a social media platform Instagram, I have been continuing my journey to create a drug-free America.
